Houston joins College of Sciences as new Dean
After over thirty years at Cornell University, Paul Houston is coming to Tech to become the new Dean of the College of Sciences. He will begin the role July 1, taking over from interim dean Kent Barefield, a professor in the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry.
Commencement Sets Record
Years of diligence and hard work paid off for the undergraduate and graduate students who took part in the spring commencement ceremonies, which were, according to Institute President Wayne Clough, the largest in Tech history.
Baseball loses four of six to ACC foes
The Jackets recently concluded an 11-game road trip, facing off against four of their collegiate rivals, UGA, Clemson, South Florida and North Carolina. The Jackets were 5-6 on the trip.
