Physics adds applied introduction courses

Starting this fall, science and engineering majors will have the opportunity to take a new set of physics courses—specifically 2211 and 2212—that are tailored to equip students with skills required in the real world and are also more conceptually advanced than the traditional set of courses.

Advising committee suggests uniform policies

A Student Government Association (SGA) committee on Academic Advising has compiled a list of essential practices of successful advising programs and a proposed a set of uniform advising policies for campus as part of a continued effort to improve advising. The committee has also developed a list of detailed expectations of advisors and students in the advising process.

Depland, Lapsley and Miller take first at meet

Last weekend, Tech’s track and field team hosted the Yellow Jacket Invitational, a single day outdoor event. The Jackets host just two meets this season, so the on-campus event offered fans a rare look to watch some track and field competition in person.
