Students share Stingerette views

Approximately 50 percent of students who responded to a survey by the student government association (SGA) said that they had used the Stingerette for transportation to Centennial Place or Home Park, according to results released by SGA. Only about 5 percent of students who used the service said they would be willing to wait more than 20 minutes for a Stingerette van.

Sam Nunn security program earns grant

The MacArthur Foundation recently renewed a grant to Tech's School of International Affairs to continue its Sam Nunn Security Program, an initiative that reaches out to scientists and engineers and trains them in policy issues. Many national security issues require the expertise of both security experts and engineers. The program was created three years ago to address this concern.

Nnamaka and Higgs lead Jackets over Tigers

The Lady Jackets (13-7, 2-5 ACC) hosted ACC rival Clemson (8-13, 2-5 ACC) Sunday as the Jackets prevailed over the Tigers 83-64. The Jackets looked to bounce back from a tough 79-71 loss at No. 6 Maryland on Thursday. Clemson won the previous meeting on January 8, 72-63 at Clemson.
