The number of male gymnasts that placed in the top three in Tech ' s third annual Gym Jackets Classic. Chris Jordan and Vasiliy Buharin finished second and third respectively for the Jackets.

A strong regional field of teams including James Madison, Virginia Tech, Xavier, North Carolina, Virginia, Illinois and Emory provided fierce competition for the Jackets in their invitational.

The number of wins that senior softball player Jessica Sallinger currently has in her career. Sallinger was scheduled to pitch in the second game of the doubleheader against Alabama State on Wednesday, but the game was cancelled due to inclement weather.

Sallinger has currently won 18 games this season and picked up her 99th career win by shutting out Virginia, her 12th shutout of the season.

Sallinger will have a chance to pick up her 100th win as Tech plays a three-game series at Glenn Field against N.C. State this weekend.
