Split sessions put on hold
The Undergraduate Curriculum Committee voted against having an accelerated summer session in addition to the full summer session which will run from May 15 to July 28. However, the committee, according to Registrar Jo McIver, indicate that it is willing to consider a similar proposal for the summer of 2001.
Parking director speaks on changes to system
Most Tech students have noticed recent changes in the parking situations on campus. With the start of the fall semester, several new initiatives began, and on Nov. 14, 1999, Rodney Weis became the new Director of Parking and Transportation.
Rising hope fizzles for Jackets as they drop two straight
The Tech men's basketball team looked promising a week ago. They had won two straight games. This week, however, they answered those two wins with two straight losses. They faced two tough ACC matchups, and both Maryland and Duke got the best of them.
