Females wanted by Georgia Tech Bowling Team

The Georgia Tech Bowling Team is recruiting female bowlers to join its women's team.The team meets on Thursday afternoons at 3:30 pm on the Georgia Tech Lanes in the Student Center.

Equestrian Team to hold fundraiser, horse show

The Georgia Tech Equestrian Team will hold a fundraiser this Sunday, October 10 starting at 8:30 a.m. The horse show is at Wills Park located at 408 Wills Road in Alpharetta.

There will be jumping, horses, and riders in hard hats and tight pants! Come out for the day and learn about the sport, try your luck in our raffle, eat some southern cooking, and enjoy your time off campus! Raffle prizes will include Tech paraphernalia from the campus bookstore, gift certificates from Rocky Mountain Pizza, Papa John's coupons, Engineers Bookstore certificates, and more. Homecoming events continue today, tomorrow

The Homecoming celebrations wrap up this weekend. The Mini 500 will be held at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon around Peter's Parking Deck, and a Pep Rally is scheduled for 5:00 p.m. today.

The Freshman Cake Race begins tomorrow morning at 7:00 a.m., followed by the Ramblin' Reck Parade at 9:00. The Yellow Jackets will take on the University of North Carolina Tarheels at 3:30 p.m. in Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Mr. and Ms. Georgia Tech will be crowned during halftime.

1999 yearbooks have arrived; get a copy today!

The latest edition of the Blueprint, Georgia Tech's annual, has arrived and is available for pickup in the Student Publications Office (Room 137 of the Student Services Building). Yearbooks are free to students who have paid their student activity fee for at least three quarters. Co-op students may purchase yearbooks for a small fee (usually $5) since they have not paid mandatory fees each quarter.

Do you like to write? We like writers! What better combination could there be? Technique staff meetings are held every Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m. in room 137 of the Student Services building.
